Come and visit an exotic world where majestic birds fly through the air, bizarre feathered creatures strut and sing in the canopy above, and colourful toucans and parrots swoop down to say hello and eat snacks from your hand. Welcome to the Bali Bird Park, a must-see attraction for travelers of all ages on a holiday to Ubud.

The Bali Bird Park houses over 1,000 birds from around Indonesia and as far away as Latin America and South Africa. The birds reside in separate regions throughout the park that simulate their natural eco-systems. Here you can see beautiful birds of paradise dance among the jungle foliage, stoic hawks and eagles hunting for prey, wide-eyed owls peeking out from the branches of trees, and the little-seen Bali starling, one of the world’s rarest birds. Visitors can also gaze upon Komodo dragons sleeping in the sun in a special enclosure. Stroll along the paths and over bridges to reach scenic vantage points where you can observe these animals acting as they would in the wild.

Besides watching the birds and lizards go about their daily business, visitors can also take in the Free Flight Bird Show to see eagles, owls and macaws perform impressive feats, join the bird keepers at feeding times to watch the birds swoop down for their meals, or spend some time at Guya Guya Corner, where tame tropical birds will sit on your shoulders and alight on your outstretched arms. If you get hungry, the garden restaurant at the park serves a mix of Asian and international fare in a tranquil setting among tropical greenery and the sweet sounds of birds singing above.  Tourists always add the Bali Bird Park to must see Bali Tour’s as it is a true Bali experience.
